As part of our ongoing work to improve playtimes for our children, we have decided to make some changes
to our uniform policy from September. We have signed a pledge with the uniform Alliance to move
towards an 'always active uniform' for our children. More information can be found here: Home - Active
Uniform Alliance

We feel that our children will benefit in the following ways:

● It allows children to be more physically active throughout the school day.
● Supports play, learning, and spontaneous physical activity.
● More comfortable and inclusive for children with sensory needs.
● Eliminates the need for separate outdoor PE/Forest School kits.
● Removes barriers to physical activity, especially for girls

There are no big changes for us. The main difference going forward is that we will encourage the wearing
of black or grey jogging bottoms, leggings or shorts (rather than formal school trousers, or skirts/pinafores,
with no stretch) and black trainers (rather than formal shoes).
