"I am currently an L.A. Governor and Vice-Chair of the Governing Board. I have lived in Simmondley for over 40 years. My daughter attended Simmondley School, as does my granddaughter. My professional background is in education. I began my 36 year career as a secondary Modern Languages teacher. I also taught primary French for several years. I moved into school leadership and ended my career as Headteacher of a comprehensive school. After retirement from teaching, I worked part-time for several years on the telephone helpline of one of the major teaching unions. I chair the Governors’ Teaching and Learning Committee. I have a granddaughter at Simmondley School."
