As school finishes for the Easter break, please let us know if your child becomes unwell with COVID symptoms on Friday 2nd April or Saturday 3rd April up to 5pm, and needs to be taken for a PCR Covid test. Please use the absences@simmondley.derbyshire.sch.uk email ONLY to inform us as this is monitored away from the school site. Please do not leave a message on the school telephone as it will not be picked up. We will await the results of any tests we know are being taken during this period, and if there is a positive result, we will notify the relevant bubble of children and staff that they need to isolate in line with Public Health England guidance. We will notify you by text initially and then after taking advice from the Department for Education Helpline, by letter, which will be uploaded on our website.
